Partners & Kältehilfe

Ice Dippers has always been free to join, and the donations we collect go to the Berliner Kältehilfe, so companies and organisations who want to support us usually do so by donating to the Kältehilfe or by helping us with the things we need on the shore.

Where donations go

The easiest way to support the cause is to donate directly to the Berliner Kältehilfe, which also gives you a donation receipt (Spendenquittung). Any cash that people give at our dips is collected over the season and passed on in full to the Kältehilfe once the season is over.

Ice Dippers is not a registered charity (gemeinnütziger e.V.), and this website is published by Jakob Neumann in Berlin.

A link in our directory

We list every place for ice bathing in Berlin that we know of. If you run one of them and would like us to link to your website, get in touch with us, and we will add the link once you have made a donation to the Berliner Kältehilfe.

If you would like to make a material donation

These are the things we can always use on the shore:

• Large thermos flasks for hot tea after the dip
• Tea and cups
• A thermometer for our weekly water temperature log
• A first aid kit suitable for winter outdoors

How companies can support us

• A link to your website in our Berlin directory, once you have donated to the Kältehilfe
• Being named as season partner on this page and next to our good cause
• A licence for photos from our archive for one campaign
• A dip for your team, with the fee going to the Kältehilfe

What we do not sell

Our chat groups stay free of advertising, and we will never sell anyone exclusive access to a public lake. Every listing in our Berlin directory stays online whether or not the place behind it supports us.
